Success Story
A Salon Built on Passion, Perseverance, and Client Satisfaction
urning her lifelong appreciation for healing crystals into a successful jewelry business, Grace Mantz founded Simply Grace LLC in Price, Utah.
Recognizing a need for crystal jewelry that is simple, elegant, and wearable, Mantz established her company to provide timeless, quality pieces that offer both aesthetic appeal and energetic benefits. She wanted people to be able to experience the healing benefits of the stones without having to carry them in a bag or pocket.
“I wanted to create jewelry that merges beauty with the healing properties of natural stones,” Mantz explained. “I didn’t want bulky designs or synthetic materials. I wanted something classy and versatile—jewelry that supports well-being and is as beautiful as it is meaningful.”
“I wanted to create jewelry that merges beauty with the healing properties of natural stones.”
Mantz has crafted her pieces to help raise energetic frequencies, with each crystal selected for its specific healing properties. From promoting self-love to providing physical support for ailments like migraines and arthritis, Simply Grace’s jewelry helps customers on their personal journeys of healing and transformation.
“Ultimately, I hope to bring my customers a life filled with happiness, abundance, and love,” she said.
Starting a business was challenging. Early on, a mentor encouraged Mantz to create heavier, wire-wrapped jewelry, which didn’t align with her vision.
“I felt strongly that there was a gap in the market for sophisticated, minimalist crystal jewelry,” she said. “Developing this vision required me to deeply understand the properties of quality metals, crystals, and stones so I could create pieces that balance elegance and durability. It’s been challenging, but I’m proud of the results.”
Her SBDC counselor, Roger Koyle, has been crucial to Mantz’s success.
“He has been instrumental in helping me navigate the legal and financial aspects of running a business,” Mantz said. “He wasn’t familiar with the energetic aspect of healing stones initially, but he kept an open mind and provided invaluable support. The SBDC has empowered me to take Simply Grace further than I ever could have alone.”
Roger has also been proactive in connecting her with opportunities for grants and potential locations for a permanent space.
“His influence has not only given me confidence in my business decisions but has also empowered me to pursue my vision with clarity and enthusiasm.”
Today, Simply Grace continues to grow, offering customers jewelry that’s more than just an accessory—it’s a tool for personal growth and self-discovery.
Mantz encourages aspiring entrepreneurs to embrace the journey.
“Starting a business can be daunting, but the rewards are incredible,” she said. “Take advantage of resources like the SBDC, and don’t be afraid to take that leap.”
