Christian’s Draft Lines and Maintenance LLC is raising the bar in the beverage industry by providing specialized draft system installation, maintenance, and line cleaning services. Founded by Christian Fail, the company was born out of a market gap and a personal drive to preserve beer quality. Fail noticed the need for specialized draft system cleaning while searching for similar services.
“I couldn’t find any providers focused on that sort of cleaning,” Fail said. “I realized there was a significant opportunity to offer a quality service that could improve the overall experience for businesses and their customers.” After extensive research, Fail turned the idea into a business. Christian’s Draft Lines and Maintenance LLC focuses on ensuring that beer systems operate smoothly, helping businesses reduce waste, improve the taste of their beer, and deliver the drinking experience the brewer intended. “When businesses work with us, they can rest assured that their customers are getting the best possible product,” said Fail. One of the company’s unique aspects is its niche focus on draft systems, a highly specialized area often overlooked in traditional cleaning and maintenance services.

“We’re here to give businesses peace of mind,” Fail said. “By keeping their systems running efficiently, we free up their time and allow them to focus on what they do best—growing their business and creating great products.” The journey to launching Christian’s Draft Lines and Maintenance wasn’t without challenges. Fail faced hurdles in securing specialized training, obtaining funding for tools and equipment, and building a customer base in a competitive market. “I had to wait four months to attend a training class in California, which was both expensive and difficult to book,” Fail shared. “But through perseverance, I was able to get the training, which helped me establish my business.”
The SBDC’s guidance and support were key factors in the company’s success. Fail worked closely with counselor Jess Clifford, whose mentorship was instrumental in helping the business thrive. “Jess guided me through every step, from creating a business plan to finding funding and obtaining licenses,” said Fail. “He also provided invaluable advice on pricing strategy, marketing, and training opportunities. I’m incredibly grateful for his continued support.”
Through hard work and dedication, Christian’s Draft Lines and Maintenance has become a trusted partner for businesses looking to enhance their beverage service. For Fail, the most satisfying part of running the business is the ability to make a tangible difference. “Owning my own company has allowed me to develop new skills, achieve financial independence, and make a positive impact,” he said. Fail encourages aspiring entrepreneurs to start small and grow strategically. “Do your research and start now,” he advised. “You don’t need a large storefront or a fleet of trucks to begin. Focus on the essentials and let your business grow from there.”
