Manufacturing & Onshoring

In 2025, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) launched the Made in America Manufacturing Initiative, a coordinated national effort to revitalize domestic production, reinforce national security, and ensure economic resilience. The Utah SBDC proudly supports this initiative by providing customized resources, funding access, expert advising, and exporting opportunities to Utah’s small and medium-sized manufacturers.

Whether you’re just starting up, reshoring operations from overseas, or scaling up production, Utah SBDC is your partner in success.

Kim Blackburn, founder of Total Integrated Panel Systems (TIPS), stands proudly in his Morgan, Utah facility where innovation meets resilience. His patented building panels are engineered to endure earthquakes, fires, floods, and more—while reducing environmental impact. With support from the Utah SBDC, Blackburn is reshaping construction for a stronger, greener future.
