Aaron Griffiths has been named the Utah SBDC Network’s State Star for his outstanding achievements in 2024. This prestigious honor is awarded to one individual each year who exemplifies excellence in small business development and support.
Griffiths first connected with the Utah SBDC Network in 2014-2015 as an intern at the Brigham City SBDC while pursuing his undergraduate degree. He returned to the Network in 2021, bringing with him a wealth of experience from six years of leading design teams in the trade show and exhibit industry. His background includes expertise in app development, interactive technologies, and electronic innovations across a broad spectrum of applications.
Since rejoining the Utah SBDC, Griffiths has become an instrumental leader in advancing the Network’s technological and innovative initiatives. He spearheaded the development and launch of a revamped Entrepreneur Academy, equipping entrepreneurs with the tools and knowledge they need to thrive. His efforts also include the creation of an internal Network Dashboard, along with various tools and AI integrations that have enhanced operational efficiency and client support. Additionally, Griffiths has expanded the Network’s reach and engagement through the production of podcasts and other media, as well as by conducting in-depth analysis to better understand and serve the needs of small business owners.
Griffiths’ passion for leveraging technology to empower entrepreneurs and improve systems has positioned him as a vital resource within the Utah SBDC Network. His innovative spirit, dedication to small business growth, and commitment to excellence make him a deserving recipient of the 2024 State Star award.
